Our previous workshops have been so successful that several girls have starred on our stage, been interviewed for BBC, Scotland on Sunday and other newspapers.

Our workshops have been held for the National Theatre of Scotland and the Scottish Parliament. They've been raved about in Scotland on Sunday, BBC, The List, XFM, The Scotsman, The Herald, Daily Record and Brides Magazine. But most of all they've been raved about by hundreds of graduates just like you. "The workshop has changed my life" is a common feedback. Many start off the day shy and anxious and end the day on an absolute high, and having made a lot of like-minded friends.

We run fun, intensive workshops for women who want a little glamour in their lives, who are fed up being a wallflower or hausfrau or who seriously want to be a performer.

Tina and Ian are two of the teachers. They run Club Noir which is the biggest burlesque club in the world (with up to 2,000 people at every club), and one of the longest running burlesque clubs in the UK. Together they've created a burlesque scene and world-class burlesque performers where none existed beforehand.

They lead these whirlwind workshops which will teach you the art of a burlesque performer, from stage presence to costumes. With half the day devoted to putting together - then finally performing - your own act.

Ian, in his role as a TV commercials director, has directed many famous ladies in his glittering career such as Brigitte Bardot, Liz Hurley and the Duchess of York. He will guide you on stage presence, confidence and acting.

Tina - this It-Girl has been the subject of many a media article. She will run through top tips such as costumes, girlie tricks, choreography. And she will have you tassel twirling within an hour.

Vanity Kills is our third teacher. This Dita Von Teese look-alike has been a popular burlesque performer with Club Noir for 3 years, and her photos regularly appear in the press.

All three teachers have extensive burlesque performing experience. As well as Club Noir they've performed at T in the Park, Connect Festival, The Edinburgh Fringe, The Flash Monkey, as well as a host of other top gigs. They have done a wide variety of acts from spooky to sexy to comedy.

They've been running these sold-out workshops since January 2005. Their gentle manner is adept at teasing out your inner siren, and they'll be your loudest cheerleaders.

You will create a stage name and develop your stage persona by playing up to your individuality. You will then be instructed on how to create an act.

The most exciting part of the day is when the whole group put on a burlesque show.
